5th Annual Tug of War @ Municipal Parking Lot at the Inlet
Oct 8 @ 11:00 am – 4:00 pm

Annual Tug O’ War across the inlet between Point Pleasant Beach and Manasquan.  There will be food, crafters, music, and fun!

Get ready for the ultimate battle of strength and teamwork! The Manasquan Inlet Tug of War is back, and it’s bigger and better than ever before! Presented by Jersey Mike’s, this year’s event will take place on Sunday, October 8th, 2023, and it’s a showdown you won’t want to miss!
The fifth installment of the Manasquan Inlet Tug of War promises to be an epic battle, pitting the fierce competitors from Manasquan and Point Pleasant Beach against each other for the coveted Winners’ Cup. These two teams have a history of intense competition, and with each team winning two contests so far, the stakes have never been higher!
But that’s not all – this year’s event is extra special because once again the Make-a-Wish Foundation of New Jersey will be joining in on the fun! Each team will raise money for this incredible organization, which helps grant the wishes of children with critical illnesses.
As always, the main event is the tug of war across the 500-foot wide Manasquan Inlet, but that’s just the beginning of the excitement! Festivals on both sides of the Inlet will feature live music, delicious food and drinks from local vendors, activities for kids, and even beer gardens for the adults! Plus, with over $200k raised so far, you can feel good knowing that all proceeds go towards supporting the recreation departments in both towns.
Don’t wait to get involved – team registration information will be announced soon, and sponsorship opportunities are available now! Whether you’re a die-hard fan of tug of war or just looking for a fun day out with family and friends, the Manasquan Inlet Tug of War is the place to be. For more information, email mitugofwar@gmail.com or visit our website at www.mitugofwar.com. See you there!
