Last Wave Brewing Co. is the culmination of years of planning and brewing with the goal of delivering drinkable, hoppy ales to the Jersey Shore. Bert and Nick are lifelong friends who found a passion for craft brew early on. From the beginning, the goal was to always go pro. With some time in the brewing (and surfing) Mecca of San Diego under their belt, the time to return to the Right Coast meant realizing a dream.

We came to Pt. Pleasant Beach with the goal of brewing and serving unique, handcrafted ales that will please your palette while pushing the limits—just like a good surf session. We respect the line-up and we respect the process, which is why we only use the finest ingredients and craft everything right here on Bay Ave in Pt. Pleasant. Come join the fun and help us spread the wonderful Garden State Stoke.

Angry Fish Gallery features local coastal art & custom framing services. A beachy, laid back atmosphere, invites you to browse for the perfect piece of local art. The gallery offers custom framing services, so bring in anything you want framed. We have hundreds of frames to choose from, including six authentic barnwoods. Angry Fish also prints cell phone or digital photo images to canvas.

Captain John Brackett

Captain John Brackett spent every summer of his youth at the Jersey Shore, fishing almost everyday. He started working as a mate on the Queen Mary in 1972, a year after graduating from Rider University. In 1978 he became captain of the Queen Mary party fishing boat and bought the Queen Mary from captain Harvey Brown in 1980. He has been the owner and captain ever since. In 2011, Capt John went into semi-retirement selling the boat and business to long time deckhand and captain David Riback. The Queen Mary mainly fishes for bluefish and stripers. With thirty one years of experience of targeting just these two species, he has become one of the top experts at the New Jersey shore for party boat blue fishing and party boat striped bass fishing. Along with his experienced crew, his one goal is to catch you fish and show you a great experience so you want to come back again. His family consists of his wife Kristine and son Justin.
