The meetings will be held in the Municipal Building, 416 New Jersey Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach, unless publicized to be held at another time or location. Any changes will be posted to the Borough’s web site, www.pointpleasantbeach.org. All meetings are open to the public. MISSION STATEMENT:The Environmental Commission has the responsibility to make recommendations regarding the local actions of its governing body, planning board, bd. of adjustment and bd. of health. A commission is the only body on the local level whose mission is to defend the natural systems - the threatened & endangered species, the air & water supply, the animals & plants that add richness to the community. The Commission’s job is to make sure the environment doesn’t get overlooked in the municipal decision-making process.
