Born and raised in “the beach” Chef Meg has been cooking in area restaurants since she was only 19. Eager to learn about an elevated level of cooking, Meg relocated to Miami where she worked at triple five-star rated LaMar by Gaston Acurio, Quality Meats of Miami, and two time James Beard award winning chef Michelle Berstein’s, Cena. She later opened her own restaurant, The Garden, a small café offering local, seasonal, and organic small plates. In spring, 2017, Meg returned home to New Jersey and partnered with Stephen Valentine to help transform Point Pleasant Beach's 709 into the new B2 Bistro + Bar. We are new to town, but not new to New Jersey. Our award-winning, flagship restaurant in Red Bank has been garnering rave reviews from guests since 2015.
