Established in 1972, the Marine Trades Association of New Jersey (MTA/NJ) is a nonprofit trade organization dedicated to advancing, promoting, and protecting the state’s recreational marine industry and waterways. With year‑round support, proactive legislative advocacy, and strategic industry promotion—including boat shows, education, and clean boating initiatives—MTA/NJ works to strengthen marine businesses and enhance boating across New Jersey. The Association represents and supports its members while championing the economic and environmental importance of recreational boating statewide.
